Getting to photograph one of my best friend’s wedding was truly a dream come true. We first met while working together at an interior design firm in TX, and even after I moved to Vermont, we stayed close—becoming fast friends over shared laughs, creative chats, and endless support. She’s always been one of my biggest cheerleaders when it comes to my photography business, constantly lifting me up and encouraging me to chase my passion. So when she asked me to capture her and her partner’s special day, my heart nearly burst with excitement. It meant the world to be trusted with such an important role—not just as a photographer, but as someone who knows and loves her. Being behind the lens that day, I got to witness all the sweet, meaningful moments of their love story unfold, and I’ll treasure that experience forever.

long distance love story 

I was so excited to photograph this wedding—there’s something really special about getting to capture the love between two people who have been in a long-distance relationship. Watching the way they looked at each other all day felt like witnessing a reunion wrapped in celebration. I resonated with their story so much, since my partner and I were long-distance for two and a half years, too. There’s a certain tenderness and strength that comes from that kind of love, and you could feel it in every little glance and touch between them. They were the absolute sweetest, and we had such a fun time together—laughing, exploring, and soaking in all the joy of the day. It was truly an honor to be there for it all.

I was so honored to capture the wedding of two of the most adventurous souls I’ve ever met. Seriously—these two are the kind of couple who live boldly and love even bigger. They're so cool, so kind, and truly down to earth in every way. At one point, they casually mentioned they had skydived together—which is honestly the perfect example of the kind of fearless, all-in love they share. Every part of their day reflected that same energy: wild, joyful, and unapologetically them. We became fast friends from the very start, from their engagement shoot to spending the day documenting their love felt less like work and more like celebrating two people I genuinely adore.
