Photography Portfolio

This includes some highlights from a majority of my photo sessions with previous clients. From wedding photography, graduation announcements, family sessions and lifestyle, there is a little bit of everything!
I love to take my 35 mm film camera with me when I get the chance. Film Photography is what taught me all the ins and outs of photography, so I have an immense love for creating in this format. To keep it from becoming a dying art, I continue to share some of my favorite film shots I have taken over the years in this section.

35mm film is a type of photographic film that is 35mm wide, hence the name. It was first introduced in 1892 by Thomas Edison and was used primarily for motion pictures until the 1930s, when it became popular for still photography as well.

35mm film is made up of a transparent plastic base coated with a light-sensitive emulsion that captures the image when exposed to light. When a photograph is taken, the film is exposed to light, and the chemical emulsion on the film reacts to create an image. After the film is exposed, it is developed using chemicals, which brings out the image that was captured. With 35mm film, each roll typically contains 24 or 36 exposures, meaning that the photographer can take that many pictures before needing to reload the camera with a new roll of film.

While I love getting to photograph my clients and help preserve their memories, being creative with my work beyond a typical shoot is very important to me. I regularly explore the world with my camera, helping me brainstorm not only for personal projects, but client work as well. This gallery holds many of my proud moments as a photographer within my own personal work.
